Sharing CV with employers

Since September 2014 employers registered in the portal www.biurokarier.edu.pl are able to recruit candidates actively – search anonymous users’ CVs as well as provide them with dedicated job and internship offers.


Recruiters are able to browse candidates CVs which have their owners’ consent. It may be done on CV sharing webpage.

There you will be able to see your CV the way the employers visualize it.

What should be done in order to draw recruiter’s attention?
  • Complete you profile precisely in order to present yourself well to employers enabling them to send you the most suitable offers.
  • It is worth to describe your education, language skills, IT competences and vocational entitlements in detail. Owing to that the CV will be available in search results if recruiter applies these criteria of searching (the most popular).
  • More detailed profiles appear higher in search results.
  • You may check what else is worth completing in the progress bar in the profile as well as in the side menu.
Why is it worth to precisely complete professional preferences?
  • The more accurate professional preferences are, the more suitable offers you receive.
  • Employers may search candidates to work among users with professional preferences consistent with the offer. Offered type of work as well as category of work position are of key importance.
    • It means the recruiter looking for e.g. financial advisors will be able to search CVs of those who marked in their professional preferences category of work position as Finances/ Banking/ Accounting: financial advisor only.
    • If you indicate that you are interested in part time job only, you will not be receiving notifications about permanent or temporary job offers, even if you meet employer’s requirements.
What does it mean that employer will be searching anonymous CV?
  • The employer has an access to CV data excluding personal data (first name, surname, ID number) as well as contact details (address, telephone number, e-mail address).
  • On CV sharing subpage you may check how your CV is visualized by employers
Is an employer, sending an offer, going to have an access to personal / contact data of candidates?
  • No. An employer will not know your personal and contact data. Offers are distributed via the portal without sharing e-mail addresses of candidates.
What kind of information will be visible to employer in my CV?
  • Candidates (students/alumni) determine what information is visible in their CV.
    • Data that was entered manually to the portal by the user is visible in the CV (e.g. professional experience, courses, achievements).
    • In case of data downloaded from University Study-Oriented System (e.g. studies, marks from different subjects, diplomas) it is invisible unless candidate reveals it.
  • You may check how your CV is visualized by an employer on CV sharing webpage at any time.
Is it possible to hide information included in the CV that was once revealed?
  • It is also possible to block a CV outlook to recruiters on CV sharing subpage.
  • Yes. You may hide data downloaded from University Study-Oriented System or delete the one entered individually at any time.
Is it possible to resign from receiving offers from a particular employer?
  • Yes. If you decide that you do not want to receive offers from a particular employer you may assign him to the, so called “black list”. Particular employer will not have the possibility to send you new offers, even if they are consistent with your professional preferences.
How to block receiving offers from a particular employer?
  • There is a link assign to black list in the mail with an offer from the employer. After clicking you will be moved to the portal, where (after signing in) the decision should be confirmed.
Am I still going to receive e-mail list with new offers?
  • Yes. Regardless your decision, to browse or not your CV by the employers and sending dedicated offers by them, you will still be receiving collective notifications about new offers consistent with your professional preferences.
